Paris toujours !!!

This weekend was a wonderful experience, a beautiful way to celebrate my 50 years. I want to thank my lovely Kerstin, who planned all this trip from the smallest detail. I have no words to thank you!
Maybe i can say:...Pluttis... I ♥ U !!
We had a very cool time, we met many beautiful places, ate and drank very tasty, found a very lovely people on our way, who helped us with transportation and general information........
(Quite difficult to travel from one place to another in Paris.)
We were in a three-star hotel, very classy and cozy. Placed in the beautiful Courbevoi.
The weather was a little varied, sometimes sunny and other gray and rainy.
Paris is a beautiful city where art is seen and felt in every corner .....
We will like to return to Paris with more time to discover a lot of places that we couldnt visit.
Au revoir!!

The last day of visiting Paris

Our days in Paris are passing very fast and today is the last day of visiting this romantic city. We started by going to visit Notre Dame and today it was opened. It's an amazing church with a faboulus architecture and with a long history, almost 1000 years since it was constructed. We took the metro to the Louvre and admired it from the outside with the new entrance formed like a pyramide. After this visit we headed for Champs Elyssés passing through the gardens of the Tulleries where we stopped to have a chicken sandwich for lunch. Everything is so beautiful and impressing, we are enjoying every second in this beautiful city. After a cup of coffee in Champs Elyssés we took the metro to another of the highlights in Paris, Montmatre with Sacre Coeur and Place de Tetre. After a visit in the beautiful and white church on the hill we had a tree course birthday supper, celebrating the 50 years of Andrés. We started with a bouillabaisse the typical french fish soup, and then duck with haricot vert and finally for dessert we had creme brulé, everything was so delicious. Now we really were filled up and after a short looking around in "Place the Tetre" and the streets of Montmatre we took the subway to Pigalle and Moulin rouge to have a look at one part of the night life in Paris. We were now satisfied and decided to take the metro back to the hotel and here we are.

The second day of our adventures in Paris

Well, today we woke up to our first day in Paris. We started with breakfast and then we headed for the big department store of Lafayette but before getting there we got stuck in C&A and we shopped like crazy. We will have to go back to Lafayette tomorrow because Andrés discovered that the battery in his camera was discharged. We had to go back to the hotel, to get back we took the train of the suburbs that is the best way and now we were touched bye the french strike because there are very few departures, finally we got back to our hotel. We had lunch sallad with duck and chevre, delicious for dessert we bought a "pain au chocolate", a french pastry that is very good. We regained our force and went back to the center of Paris because now we had the big challenge ahead of us, to climb the stairs of the Eiffel tower. We reached the second floor with a fantastic view but there were to much people in the line to go to the third floor to the top of the tower so we took the elevator to get back to the ground...we had a perfect view and it´s very impressing to go up in the tower. It was a little bit late in the day but we went down to "Cité" to visit Notre Dame, when we got there it was closed, we have to go back tomorrow because it´s really beautiful. Well now it was dark and also raining...we went back and had supper close to the hotel in a turkish restaurant. Our second day in Paris is now ended but tomorrow we will attack again. A demain!

Paris!!!

Finally we arrived to Paris one hour delayed. We are so happy to meet the autumn in Paris and now we will spend two days visiting all different parts of this lovely city. We will try to tell you about our adventures in Paris. We are staying close to Place de la Défense in the hotel George Sand. After arriving and installing in our nice little room, we took a walk and ended up at the arc of triumph. Paris is a city where you walk a lot. We finished the day in a little nice restaurant close to the hotel. Bon nuit!
